Reservoirs play a crucial role in water resource management, providing water supply, flood control, hydropower generation, and recreational opportunities. However, climate change presents unprecedented challenges to the operation and management of reservoirs due to altered precipitation patterns, increasing temperatures, and more frequent extreme weather events. Adaptive management strategies are essential for enhancing the resilience of reservoir systems in the face of these changes.
