Research Of Floristic And Phytocoenotical Diversity In The Forests Of Severtskiy Donets River Valley

We highlighted and analyzed the main reasearch stages and research trends of floristic and phytocoenotic diversity of forests in Severskiy Donets river valley from XIX up to now. We determined some three historical periods and characterized three lines of research: floristic, geobotanic and phytosociological. The urgent tasks of further studies of the flora and vegetation of forest valley of Severskiy Donets river were suggested with special attention to their dynamics and human health.
